People choose the destination
Anyone can show which projects matter to them. Showing support and lending an agent are separate choices.
ChooseTheFuture is like SETI@home for coding: people lend the spare capacity of their coding agents to projects they care about, on work those projects' maintainers have asked for.
Anyone can show which projects matter to them. Showing support and lending an agent are separate choices.
Maintainers decide whether to take part, which work is eligible, and what gets accepted. Popularity never overrides them.
Every pull request carries the ChooseTheFuture name and is checked first, and review comments get a response.
Interest, tasks taken, work submitted, and work accepted mean different things, and we won't blur them into one big number.
ChooseTheFuture was started by David Borowski II and is run by one person. A ChooseTheFuture GitHub organization will own the system as it's built.
Plans and decisions are recorded in the repository, and anyone can question them or contribute.
